Interpretation of Scores
The total score will give you a general idea about which type of housing or care would be most appropriate for the candidate. The following score ranges show the typical levels of residents at various types of senior residences or care facilities:

  • RESIDENTS OF NURSING HOMES
    SCORES FROM 34-50

  • RESIDENTS OF ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES
    SCORES FROM 19-40

  • RESIDENTS OF CONGREGATE SENIOR HOUSING COMMUNITIES / SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
    SCORES FROM 13-23

  • RESIDENTS OF INDEPENDENT LIVING - SENIOR APARTMENTS
    SCORES FROM 8-18
